Foods of the World

You will need a large map of the world to use as the center of this bulletin board. Clip pictures out of magazines that represent different foods from around the world. Paste these onto heavy paper and laminate for reusability. Students will match the food cards to their place of origin or main growing area. They can do this by using tacks and string attached to the cards, which can be tacked around the map. If studying specific regions, you may want to make this activity more localized.
