Beans in the Bag

Place a bag of lima beans at each table. Have students predict how many are in the bag. As a group have them find out how many there are in the bag and write down the steps they took to find their answer. Have the tables compare results with each other to see if the bags have the same amount and to find the range of beans in the bags as well as finding the range of predictions.
