What is it? Mix corn starch and water in a bowl. Use just enough water to moisten the corn starch…it should be thick, not runny. Provide each student with a cup of IT. Have them come up with a name for the substance and describe its properties. Ask them to decide if it's a solid, liquid, or gas, and have them write down their answers.
