Words That Begin With

Give your students a letter and have them write down words beginning with that letter. They should begin with a two or three-letter word and try to form as many words as they can with one more letter each time. For example, with the letter B, they might begin with "by" then "bin" then "book" then "bears" then "binder" and so on.
